Japneet has been sharing her expertise on the pottery wheel since 2010, inspiring beginners across India, Australia, and various design institutes to embark on their pottery journeys. Known for her approachable teaching style, Japneet’s workshops focus on foundational techniques that enable students to create functional, beautifully crafted pieces.

Each workshop begins with mastering basic techniques like centering clay on the wheel, followed by Japneet’s distinctive “finger and thumb” method, which introduces students to the process of shaping bowls, cylinders, and vessels. As participants progress, they delve into crafting items such as bowls, flat-base bowls, mugs, and jars, eventually learning more advanced techniques for adding lids, galleries, and refining form and function in their creations.

Japneet’s workshops are tailored one-on-one sessions, allowing for personalized guidance and demonstrations. Each 90-minute session is priced at $130, and students have the flexibility to choose a time that suits them. Japneet offers these classes both in her studio and as an option to travel to the student’s studio, making her instruction accessible and adaptable to each learner’s preferences.
